Lazy dumplings are an unusually simple, tasty and healthy dish. This recipe is suitable for preparing a quick and healthy breakfast for a schoolchild, and for a light dinner for the whole family. To prepare dumplings, you need a minimum set of products and 20 minutes of free time. You can cook them right away, or you can freeze a raw semi-finished product to prepare breakfast in just 5 minutes in the morning.

It is necessary

  • Cottage cheese - 500 g;
  • Eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • Flour - 1 glass;
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons;
  • Salt - 1-2 pinches;
  • Sugar - to taste (standard 1-2 tablespoons).

Instructions

Step 1

For cooking dumplings, a saucepan with a volume of 3 liters or more is suitable. There should be enough water so that the dumplings do not stick together. Before we start the dough, we put the water on fire - it will boil just when everything is ready.

Step 2

To make the dumplings tender and soft, it is better to pass the cottage cheese through a sieve or simply grind with a fork in a bowl.

Step 3

Break 2 eggs into a bowl of cottage cheese. Melt the butter and pour it there. Add salt and sugar. Mix everything thoroughly with a fork, rubbing a little.

Step 4

Pour flour into the mixture and knead the dough. The thickness of the dough should be sufficient so that something can be blinded from it, but it should not be too thick either: the dumplings should turn out to be soft and tender.

Step 5

Sprinkle flour on the board. Cut the dough into several pieces and roll a sausage about 5-7 cm in diameter from each of them.

Step 6

Cut the sausages into equal pieces 2-3 cm thick.

Step 7

We throw the resulting "patches" into boiling water and cook until they come up (3-5 minutes). Then we take them out with a slotted spoon. Lazy dumplings are ready.
