Step 1
Put the cottage cheese in a deep container and mix, gradually adding one egg to it. Add salt (the amount of salt for lazy dumplings is determined by your eye and taste).

We carefully sift the wheat flour through a sieve and add it to the curd mass. Mix thoroughly until smooth. If the dough is sticky, add a little more flour and stir again.
Step 3
Powder your hands with flour and form dumplings from the dough. The shape of lazy dumplings can be very diverse: you can roll balls out of dough, or you can roll them out like a sausage and cut into circles.
Step 4
Bring 2 to 3 liters of water to a boil. Cook until tender, about 20 minutes. Serve melted butter, cinnamon, sugar or plum compote with lazy dumplings.
