Grilled mackerel is very common in Turkey. The most important thing is to have a barbecue on hand. The fish cooks very quickly. It turns out delicious, satisfying and aromatic.

It is necessary

  • - 2 mackerels
  • - 1/2 daikon
  • - 1 carrot
  • - 2 cucumbers
  • - 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
  • - 1 bunch of any greens to taste
  • - allspice or black ground to taste
  • - salt

Instructions

Step 1

First take the mackerel, peel and wash it. Marinate with salt and pepper and leave for 20-25 minutes.

Step 2

While the fish is marinating, start peeling the vegetables.

Step 3

Cut vegetables into strips or grate on a coarse grater. Chop the herbs, salt and pepper to taste. Add a spoonful of oil and season with the juice of half a lemon.

Step 4

Stir and leave to make the carrots, cucumber and daikon friends. The salad is just perfect with fatty mackerel.

Step 5

Cut the mackerel along the spine and place it as it is on the grill rack.

Step 6

Mackerel is a delicate fish with thin skin. Grill over strong charcoal for three minutes on each side.

Step 7

Serve with lemon juice.
