In this case, it is wise to take care of the preparation of hot non-alcoholic mulled wine. It is not difficult to make it, you just need to replace the wine with juice. But this is not the main difference. To get an impeccable taste of the drink, you should connect your imagination to the preparation process.
It is necessary
- - grape or apple juice - 3 glasses;
- - clean water - 0.5 cups;
- - lemon and orange zest - 3 tablespoons;
- - sour apple - 2-3 slices;
- - pitted raisins - 2 tablespoons;
- - spices: ginger, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon - a pinch;
- - honey - 1 tsp.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a glass or enamel pot and pour the juice mixed with water into it. You can use one type of juice or mix in equal proportions apple and grape juices (one and a half cups). Toss in the sour apple slices and the washed raisins.
Step 2
Place the pot on a low heat. Do not let the juice boil, heating should be slow, the temperature of the juice should not be higher than + 80ºC. Heat the juice this way for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Add spices to hot juice, add honey and lemon and orange zest. Stir and keep the future drink on a low heat for another 5 minutes. In no case more, otherwise the color and taste will change dramatically.
Step 4
Turn off the stove, cover the pan with a lid and let the mulled wine stand for 15 minutes. You can cover the pot with a cotton towel or linen napkin at this point.
Step 5
Prepare glasses, ceramic cups or special glasses for mulled wine. Pour the hot flavored drink.
