Cabbage rolls with meat are a very tasty and satisfying dish. Thanks to the combination of meat and cabbage, it is easy to digest and does not cause heaviness in the stomach. Such a dish can be prepared both on a weekday and for a festive table.
It is necessary
- - 500 grams of beef;
- - 700 - 800 grams of white cabbage;
- - onions 1 - 2 heads, medium size;
- - 250 grams of rice;
- - vegetable oil 500 - 600 milliliters;
- - 400 grams of sour cream;
- - 2 tablespoons of tomato paste;
- - a pinch of salt, spices and herbs.
Instructions
Step 1
Boil the head of cabbage until half cooked, then cool slightly and disassemble into separate leaves. The thickening at the petioles should be slightly beaten off.
Step 2
To prepare minced meat, the meat must be cut into small pieces and minced. Next, the resulting minced meat is mixed with fried onions and boiled washed rice, salt and ground pepper are very carefully added. In case raw rice is added, the stewing time is increased to 60 - 70 minutes.
Step 3
On boiled and slightly beaten cabbage leaves, spread the minced meat in a small slide, and carefully wrap it in leaves, giving the products an even and beautiful shape.
Step 4
Then the cabbage rolls are placed in a greased baking sheet and fried in the oven, you can also use a frying pan. When a golden brown crust appears, stuffed cabbage rolls with sour cream mixed with tomato paste, and stew until tender, about 40 minutes.
