- - 2 pcs. small fresh ginger
- - 1 small lemon
- - 1 tsp turmeric
- - 2 cloves of garlic
- - 2 dried chili peppers
- - 1 bunch fresh mint
- - 4 tbsp. l natural yogurt or kefir
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the fish, separate it from the skin and bones. Cut into 2, 5 cm pieces. Fish kebab is most delicious from fresh salmon or salmon fillets.
Step 2
For rosemary, remove only the bottom leaves. This is necessary in order to more conveniently string fish and potatoes on a skewer.
Step 3
Rinse young potatoes, boil until half cooked. The potatoes should not be overcooked, otherwise they will crumble when strung on skewers. It is not necessary to remove the peel. Cut into 2, 5 cm cubes.
Step 4
Peel the ginger, cut into thin slices. Grate the lemon zest with a fine grater. Then, cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice into a bowl. Cut the chili in half, remove the seeds - they are not needed. Chop the chili itself finely.
Step 5
All the ingredients for making the marinade, except for yogurt (kefir), place in a food processor or blender, chop and mix into a homogeneous mass. Now add yogurt (kefir) and lemon juice, stir.
Step 6
On skewers of rosemary sprigs, string fish and young potatoes alternately. Drizzle the marinade for 2 minutes on each side while the kebab is grilling over the charcoal. For a richer taste, you can marinate the fish (potatoes) for several hours.
