If you don't really want to bother with the dough for pasties, you can prepare their simplified version - lavash pasties. This quick dish tastes pretty good. The dough, when fried, becomes crispy, and the meat filling is juicy. Quickness and simplicity are the advantages of this recipe. The disadvantages include a small amount of lavash compared to the real dough.

It is necessary

  • - vegetable oil for frying - 80 g;
  • - egg - 1 piece;
  • - minced meat (pepper, salt, onion, meat) - 500 g;
  • - a sheet of thin pita bread 50 x 70 cm - 1 pc.

Instructions

Step 1

Cut off the thickened edges of the pita bread. Cut the sheet into even squares. If it is round and the size is not very large, then nothing needs to be cut.

Step 2

Grease the pita bread squares with a relatively thin layer of egg. Add water to the minced meat to make it thinner.

Step 3

If the egg remains after greasing the pita bread, stir it into the minced meat. This is done so that the egg does not have to be thrown away. In general, it is better not to add the egg to the minced meat, since the dish will be rougher after that.

Step 4

Spread the minced meat on the sheets of pita bread with a triangle, leave one centimeter at each edge. Apply minced meat in a semicircle to round pita bread.

Step 5

Make sure that the minced meat does not fall on the edges, because then they will not stick together and all the juice will flow out during frying. Roll the squares diagonally. Press the edges better, they will stick together due to the egg.

Step 6

Preheat a skillet with vegetable oil. Set the fire to above average. Fry the pasties on both sides until they are bright golden brown. It is better to serve lavash pasties warm or hot. When they are cool, the dough will not be crispy as it will soften.
