A pita and vegetable snack roll with chicken is a hit of any festive table. This juicy and tasty appetizer goes well with all dishes, strong alcoholic drinks. Such an uncomplicated treat is prepared very quickly if you take already boiled or smoked chicken fillet. Lavash roll with the self-explanatory name "Obzhorka" is a real lifesaver if guests unexpectedly came or ran out of snacks on the table during gatherings.

It is necessary

  • - 2 fresh medium-sized carrots;
  • - 400 g smoked chicken breast;
  • - 2 pickled cucumbers;
  • - thin pita bread from the package;
  • - onion (white or red - to choose from);
  • - fresh parsley, dill;
  • - salt;
  • - mayonnaise;
  • - vegetable oil for frying.

Instructions

Step 1

Finely chop the onion peeled from the husk with a knife, peel the carrots, grate on a coarse grater.

Step 2

Fry vegetables in a pan, pouring a little vegetable oil on the bottom and lightly salt to taste. Cool the fry, transfer to a bowl, gently drain off excess fat.

Step 3

Smoked chicken fillet, cut from a leg or breast, finely cut into strips or slices, do the same with pickled cucumbers. You can even grate them through a coarse grater, then squeeze out the excess liquid.

Step 4

Chop fresh herbs finely, mix with mayonnaise. If you wish, it is not forbidden to add chopped green onion feathers, cilantro, basil and other aromatic herbs to the "Obzhorka" lavash roll.

Step 5

Spread a sheet of pita bread, coat with a thin layer of mayonnaise mixed with herbs. Put the cooled roast of carrots and onions on top.

Step 6

Spread another sheet of pita bread on top of the first one, grease it again with mayonnaise mixture, spread slices of chicken and cucumber on it.

Step 7

Twist the pita bread into a tight roll, wrap with cling film so as not to disintegrate, put in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Take it out just before serving, cutting it in portions into pieces about 3-4 cm wide.
