A raw food diet is a food system in which food is allowed to be consumed without heat treatment.

When food is not exposed to heat, it retains enzymes, enzymes that are actively involved in maintaining immunity and healthy functioning of the body. Raw food is "alive", which determines its beneficial properties.

The following foods can be eaten by raw foodists:

  • honey;

  • water (living, i.e. structured, silicon).

Some products can be heated up to 35-40 Celsius. This applies to products that do not lose their properties during processing: carrots, cabbage. It is also possible to brew herbs in warm water (no more than 40 degrees Celsius). A wide variety of delicious meals can be prepared from acceptable foods.

Allowed, but in limited quantities: sauerkraut, vinegar, sea salt, bananas, yogurt (depending on the type of raw food diet), onions, garlic.

In the raw food diet, there are some variations on acceptable foods. So, raw foodists are divided into 5 main areas:

  1. Omnivorous raw food eaters. With this method of eating, all raw foods are acceptable, up to meat, fish, eggs and all dairy products.
  2. Raw meat diet. You can eat any raw and dried meat, but you need to minimize greens, vegetables and fruits, oils, grains, all dairy.
  3. Raw food vegetarians. Everything that vegetarians eat is acceptable, with one exception - the food should not be heat-treated. Eggs and milk are acceptable, exclude meat and fish.
  4. Vegan raw foodists. Only raw food, animal products should be excluded.
  5. Fructorians. Only fruits are allowed - fruits, berries, raw.

A raw food diet can become a way of life. But many people resort to such a nutritional system for a short period of time, from several months to several years, in order to improve the body's health and lose weight.

Losing weight occurs for the reason that with such a diet, toxins are released from the body, the food is low in calories. The diet lacks fried, boiled, starchy foods; cooking does not form trans fats, carcinogens, which, in turn, heals the body.

All this contributes to well-being and a feeling of additional energy, many diseases go away by themselves.
