When drawing up a New Year's menu, it is important to take care not only of the taste of festive dishes, but also of their appearance. Surprise your guests by preparing a delicious and satisfying Christmas tree salad.
- 280 grams of tender ham

- 3 hard boiled eggs
- 130 grams of mayonnaise
- 70 grams of thick sour cream
- 1 large cucumber (fresh)

1. Prepare a flat oval dish, on which you will lay out the salad in the form of a herringbone in layers.
2. The first layer of salad will be finely chopped ham. Since this is the first layer, it must be carefully laid out in the shape of a Christmas tree, for this you can use a stencil. Cut out the tree and lay the sheet on a dish, and after laying out the first layer, remove the stencil.
3. Each layer of salad should be coated with sauce: mix sour cream with mayonnaise and chopped garlic.
4. Put a layer of finely chopped champignons on the sauce.
5. Then comes the layer of cucumbers. The cucumber needs to be peeled and finely chopped.
6. Next, three boiled eggs on a fine grater and spread the next layer with them.
7. The last layer of mayonnaise should be slightly thicker than the previous ones so that the salad is saturated and juicy.
8. Then you can start decorating: put chopped green onions and decorate the "Christmas tree" with toys made of corn, olives, bell peppers or carrots.
9. In general, any greenery can be used to imitate spruce branches. Dill or parsley will do.
10. The "Yolochka" salad should stand for at least half an hour in the refrigerator, so its taste will be even better.
