Making lush and tasty garlic buns at home is not difficult at all. They are perfect for both tea drinking and your favorite dish. If desired, you can add finely chopped garlic, basil, paprika or other spices to the dough.

In a bowl, combine warm water, dry yeast and ½ teaspoon sugar until the yeast and sugar dissolve. Leave it on for 10 minutes.

When the yeast comes up, add the remaining sugar, 1 ½ tablespoon flour, salt and oil. Stir well until smooth.

Add the remaining 1 ½ tablespoon flour and knead the dough. Add more flour as needed. The dough should be smooth and elastic, and separate well from the hands.

Form a ball out of the dough, anoint with oil, cover with plastic cling film and move to a warm place for 1.5 hours.

When the dough is good, divide it into 12 equal pieces in the form of long sticks (20 cm).

Place on a baking sheet, oiled with either vegetable oil or covered with parchment. Cover with cling film and place in a warm place for 1 hour.
