Sometimes, having skipped picking cucumbers for several days, having appeared at the dacha, we see yellow "pigs" in the garden. Use overgrown and large-fruited cucumbers or throw them in the compost heap? Is there some way to recycle them?
It is necessary
- - cucumbers
- - coarse salt
- - garlic
- - dill (twigs)
- - grater or vegetable cutter
- - glass jars
Instructions
Step 1
After collecting cucumbers from the garden, you need to wash and soak them for a couple of hours. Put a clean cotton cloth on the table. Remove the cucumbers from the water and let them dry. Dry sterilized jars should be at the ready. Dill (washed and dried), garlic and coarse salt are prepared in advance.
Step 2
Part of large-fruited and overgrown ogres must first be chopped with a grater or vegetable cutter. Experience shows that a three-liter jar of cucumbers will need a little more than a liter of cooked gruel. For each portion of this mass, add 100 g of coarse salt and the same amount of garlic. Mix everything. The fill is ready. No water is used at all in this recipe.
Step 3
It remains to cut large-fruited cucumbers into pieces and put them in jars. Do the same with small ones (meaning - put in jars). Transfer with dill sprigs and pour over with pouring. Close with nylon caps and put in a cold place. You will be pleasantly surprised by their unusual, vigorous taste. Pickled cucumbers are stored in the cellar until spring.
