In Turkey, crispy chickpeas are very often eaten at parties, cafes, discos. Thanks to sea salt, chickpeas are salty. It turns out to be unusual, tasty and amazing.
It is necessary
- - 1 pack of chickpeas
- - 5 tbsp. l. soy sauce
- - 80 g granulated sugar
- - 300 ml of water
- - 0.5 tsp cumin
- - 0.5 tsp red hot pepper
- - sea salt
Instructions
Step 1
Soak the chickpeas in cold water and refrigerate for 8-10 hours.
Step 2
Boil the soaked chickpeas, about 20-25 minutes. Put the boiled chickpeas in a colander and rinse with cold water.
Step 3
Cook the frosting. Pour soy sauce into the water, add granulated sugar and spices to taste. Simmer over high heat until the water evaporates and the sauce becomes stringy.
Step 4
Dip the chickpeas in the icing sauce. Using a slotted spoon, place the chickpeas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 5
Sprinkle with sea salt and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees to dry the chickpeas. Bake for about 1-1.2 hours.
