Each vegetable and fruit has its own storage temperature range.

Step 1
Bananas, pineapples, melons should be stored at temperatures ranging from +8 to +13 degrees. The most favorable temperature for bananas is 15 degrees. When stored in the refrigerator, small black specks appear on the banana peel, and taste changes. In addition, bananas are better stored not in a bunch, but one at a time.
Step 2
Pumpkins, zucchini, cucumbers and tomatoes are best stored not in the refrigerator, but in a cool place at a temperature of about 15 degrees; a pantry or a glazed loggia is suitable for storing them. Carrots require refrigeration. Sweet peppers are well stored at a temperature of + 10 …. + 12 degrees.
Step 3
Grapes and plums can be stored in the lower compartment of the refrigerator. You don't need to wash them in advance, just before eating. It is advisable to get grapes and plums from the refrigerator an hour before meals. If you cut a lemon, place the cut side on a plate, but do not cover the top with anything.

If you store vegetables and fruits in the refrigerator, remember that the bags in which you store them must be breathable, with holes. In a tightly closed bag, moisture accumulates on fruits and vegetables and mold appears, the fruit or vegetable begins to rot.
