Consider the compiled menu from the point of view of a balanced diet. Are fresh fruits and vegetables, legumes, fish and meat included in your weekly diet? Is there enough dairy products.

Step 4

Distribute meals by day of the week. You don't have to cook a different meal every day. For example, soup cooked on Monday may remain on Tuesday. Or cutlets fried on Wednesday with pasta, the next day can be served with mashed potatoes. This will significantly save your time and effort.

Step 5

If you have a busy day or two a week with other things to do, and you will not have time to cook, think about pre-prepared meals for these days that can be quickly reheated and served.

Step 6

Write down on a separate sheet of paper all the foods you will need for cooking during the week. Divide them into two groups. Let the first group include those products that can be bought in advance and stored for a long time (cereals, potatoes, carrots, onions, tomato paste, pasta, sunflower and butter, meat, flour). In the second group, write down perishable foods that you will have to buy in the middle of the week (bread, milk, cottage cheese). With the first list, you can go to the store on weekends and stock up on what you need for the week.

Step 7

Check the rest of the revision in the refrigerator and cabinets before heading to the store. If something from the list you have at home in sufficient quantities, then cross it off the list. Supplement the list with products that will come in handy for your tea if they suddenly come to visit.
