Breakfast can be not only quick and tasty, but also beautiful. On weekends and holidays, you should try to serve some familiar dish in an original way - for example, scrambled eggs. Combine it with toasted bread, herbs, fresh vegetables or sausages to create a delicious composition from this variety.

What you need for an unusual breakfast

Scrambled eggs look very nice, even if cooked without fuss. The bright yellow yolk against the white background creates a beautiful contrast and whets the appetite. But the dish can be made even more elegant by giving it an unusual shape. The easiest option is to use a special Teflon-coated pan with indentations. With this useful appliance, you can cook four servings of heart-shaped scrambled eggs at the same time. If you do not have such a frying pan, use a regular one, supplementing it with metal cookie cutters.

You can give the eggs a beautiful shape without additional devices. Bread or a sausage cut in a certain way will help to contain the spreading protein. To make the composition even more elegant, complement it with vegetables of a contrasting color - for example, cucumbers, sliced wedges, lettuce and whole cherry tomatoes.

Choose a plain flat plate of a suitable color - on it, unusually decorated scrambled eggs will look especially interesting.

Sausage and Fried Egg Hearts

One of the most delicious combinations is a fried egg with sausages. The dish is prepared very quickly and even the most inexperienced housewives succeed.

For 2 servings of scrambled eggs you will need:

- 4 eggs;

- 4 Viennese sausages;

- vegetable oil for frying;

- salt and freshly ground black pepper;

- a branch of cherry tomatoes;

- parsley.

Cut the sausages lengthwise, without bringing the knife to the end. Then unfold them with the cut sides out, fasten the ends with a toothpick. You will have 4 hearts.

Hearts do not have to be perfectly straight. Elongated, asymmetrical shapes look nice too.

Heat some unscented vegetable oil in a large skillet. Place the sausage hearts in the pan and fry them until golden brown. Make sure that the sausages do not burn. Turn them over to the other side and release one egg in the middle of each heart.

Lightly salt the egg. Cook until the white hardens, leaving the yolk runny. Do not cover the pan with a lid.

Put the finished scrambled eggs on large warmed up plates - 2 hearts are relied on per serving. Sprinkle finely chopped parsley on the eggs before serving and garnish with a small sprig with a few cherry tomatoes. The dish can be flavored with freshly ground black pepper. Serve separately toasted toast or fresh white bread and tomato sauce.

Toast with scrambled eggs

Another option for serving scrambled eggs is to cook it along with toast. Top up the dish with fried bacon for an even more satisfying breakfast.

You will need;

- 4 slices of white toast bread;

- 4 eggs;

- butter for frying;

- 150 g thinly sliced bacon;

- salt;

- a few chives-bow feathers;

- fresh cucumber.

For this dish, it is convenient to use ready-made toast bread. Using a cookie cutter, cut a flower, star, or heart in the middle of each piece. Brush the bread with butter and fry until golden brown. Then turn the slices over and release 1 egg into the notch. Fry the eggs until tender, lightly salted and sprinkled with ground black pepper.

In a separate skillet, brown the thinly sliced bacon. Place the toasted bread with egg on warmed plates, add bacon and slices of fresh cucumber to each serving. Garnish with chives and serve with breakfast.

Kids will love the sweet, bacon-free version of the scrambled eggs. Sprinkle icing sugar on the prepared toast or serve with a spoonful of homemade jam.
