Blueberry is a berry that is unique in its useful properties. A very wide variety of dishes can be prepared from blueberries. This is not only preserves, jams, blueberry pies, but also something more interesting - blueberry wine.
It is necessary
- - sugar 2 kg;
- - blueberries 3 kg;
- - water 1, 5 liters;
- - mint leaves;
- - lemon zest.
Instructions
Step 1
Blueberries need to be sorted out, washed and dried thoroughly. Then it needs to be crushed; a blender, food processor or ordinary meat grinder is well suited for this purpose. In the absence of this kitchen technique, you can simply crush the berries with a potato crush.
Step 2
Boil the syrup from water and sugar. Pour mint leaves and lemon zest with a small amount of hot syrup. When the syrup has cooled, mix it with the blueberries and lemon-mint mixture.
Step 3
All this must be thoroughly mixed and left at room temperature for a week, covered with gauze on top. During the week, the mixture must be stirred periodically.
Step 4
After a week, you will see a sediment of blueberry puree at the bottom, the settled liquid must be poured into a container with a water seal and left for another 7 days.
Step 5
After that, the wine must be poured into bottles, tightly corked and stored for 3-4 months.
