Step 1

Rinse the chicken in tap water and place in a saucepan. Pour in 2.5 liters of water and bring to a boil. Remove the foam, then reduce the temperature to a minimum and cover with a lid.

In the meantime, you can prepare the vegetables. Peel and rinse the potatoes, onions and carrots. Chop the potatoes into cubes, cut the carrots into small pieces, and chop the onion into quarter-rings.

When the chicken is cooked (40 minutes after the water has boiled), it can be removed from the pan and allowed to cool. Then put the potatoes in the broth. After boiling, reduce the temperature again and cook for 15 minutes until tender.

Pour sunflower oil into the pan and heat well. Place the onion and fry until translucent. Place the carrots and fry them with the onions for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Add black pepper at the end and stir. After that, immediately transfer the onion and carrot roast to the potatoes.

The chicken should have cooled down by this time. Cut it into small pieces and send it to the pan with the vegetables. If the meat separates well from the bone, then it can be discarded immediately.

After 15 minutes after boiling, check the potatoes - if they become soft, then open a jar of corn and transfer it to a saucepan (along with the liquid). After boiling, cook the dish for another 5 minutes, and then remove it from the stove.

Chicken corn soup can be poured into portions immediately. Serve with fresh parsley or dill, croutons or fresh bread.
