Not sure what to cook with beef? And I'll tell you - goulash. This is a traditional dish that came to us from Hungary and gained great popularity.

It is necessary

  • - 1 kg of beef;
  • - 2 tomatoes;
  • - 2 bell peppers;
  • - onions - 4 heads;
  • - flour 2 tablespoons;
  • - 250 g sour cream;
  • - ground red pepper;
  • - salt;
  • - garlic - 1 clove.

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the onion into half rings and fry in vegetable oil until translucent. Add red pepper, garlic, salt to it. Pour in a glass of water and bring to a boil.

Step 2

Cut the beef into portions and add to the cooked onion sauce. Season with salt and simmer over low heat, covered, until the meat is tender. Top up with water if it boils away.

Step 3

Scald the tomatoes with boiling water and peel them off, cut into small cubes.

Step 4

Chop the bell pepper. Pre-clean it from seeds and stalks. Send the chopped vegetables to the meat and cook for another 20 minutes.

Step 5

Combine sour cream and flour and place with vegetables and meat. Season the goulash with salt and simmer for another 10 minutes.
