Homemade Viennese waffles will be a wonderful option for a festive breakfast or just a way to please your loved ones with an unusual and delicious dish!
It is necessary
- For about 12 waffles:
- Softened butter - 110 g
- Brown sugar - 140 g
- Vanillin, a pinch of salt
- Eggs - 4 pcs.
- Milk - 550 ml
- Flour - 400 g
- Baking dough - 1 tsp
- Silicone tins for Viennese waffles
Instructions
Step 1
Pre-set to preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Mix brown sugar, vanillin and salt in a separate container. We spread the softened butter in a deep bowl, begin to beat with a mixer, gradually adding the sugar mixture. Whisk into a fluffy creamy mass. Add the eggs one at a time while continuing to beat.
Step 2
Gradually pour milk into the dough, mix at a slow mixer speed. Sift flour mixed with baking powder into the dough, stir thoroughly until smooth.
Step 3
We spread silicone wafer molds on a baking sheet, fill each with dough. There should be enough dough in the mold so that it covers the squares that form the waffle pattern, but does not reach the very edge of the mold, since during the baking process it will slightly increase in size. If there is a lot of dough, it will come out of the mold and ruin the appearance of the waffle.
Step 4
We put a baking sheet with waffles in the oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, turn the waffles out of the molds onto a baking sheet with the pattern up and brown in the oven for another 1-2 minutes. Serve hot with any sweet sauces.
