Step 1

To prepare the dish with the most positive effect, it is best to take fresh berries. But you can also use frozen cranberries. Before cooking, defrost the berries thoroughly and rinse with cool water. Remove excess blotches from the berry. Sometimes twigs or leaves can be found in store-bought cranberries.

Step 2

Wash the apple, dry it and peel it with a sharp knife. Cut the peeled apple into medium slices. Place a few pieces of ice in a clean, dry blender cup and turn on the chopping mode. The ice should turn into a fine gruel. Carefully remove the crushed ice, put it in the refrigerator in a small cup.

Step 3

Combine milk and water in a glass and stir a little. Grind fresh or defrosted berries in a blender, leaving some for garnish beforehand. Add ground cinnamon, turmeric to the berries and mix again, add an apple. Add milk and water last and chop thoroughly. Pour into a glass and add a couple of tablespoons of crushed ice and a few berries on top. Stir the smoothie a little before drinking.
