To make the chicken liver very tender and tasty, you should refuse to fry it in favor of baking it in parchment. A dish prepared in this way will also be healthy and low-calorie.
The most delicious and tender chicken liver is obtained if you cook it in an envelope from a special culinary parchment. At the same time, it is baked with steam emanating from the vegetables, which cannot go outside. But the pleasant taste and softness of the dish are far from all the advantages that relate to this method of preparation. In addition, the finished liver turns out to be less high-calorie, the dish does not need to be interfered, and, therefore, to be constantly present in the kitchen, and, in addition, you do not have to stain excess dishes.
It is best to cook the liver in parchment in portions, putting in the envelope the amount of ingredients calculated for one person.
To prepare chicken liver with vegetables in parchment, it is necessary to clean the meat product from the film and bile ducts, and then cut it into pieces. It is best to leave the liver in cold water for about 30 minutes after cutting. Next, any vegetables are finely chopped. You can take zucchini, tomatoes, onions, carrots, and red bell peppers.
The parchment is smeared with a small amount of any vegetable oil, and then a portion of pieces of liver and vegetables is laid on it. Last but not least, a tablespoon of sour cream with salt and your favorite seasonings is sent to the envelope.
The dish is cooked for about 25 minutes without stirring. You can serve the resulting liver to the table with mashed potatoes or as an independent hot dish without a side dish.
