Even ordinary beef can be cooked in an original way. To do this, you need to marinate it in a lemon-mustard marinade, and serve it under a sweetish banana sauce.
It is necessary
- - 500 g of beef fillet.
- For the marinade:
- - juice and zest from half a lemon;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of dry white wine, mustard, olive oil;
- - 0.5 tsp white pepper;
- - salt.
- For the sauce:
- - 1 ripe banana;
- - 150 g sour cream;
- - 1 bunch of cilantro;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of orange and lemon juice;
- - 1 teaspoon of mustard;
- - 1/3 teaspoon of curry;
- - sea salt, a mixture of peppers.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the meat, cut it into portions. Combine the grated zest and juice from half a lemon. Add dry white wine, mustard, olive oil, white pepper. Season the marinade and pour over the prepared beef.
Step 2
Stir the meat with the marinade, close the container with the meat and leave to marinate for 4-6 hours at room temperature.
Step 3
Take a baking dish, put the marinated meat in it, put it in the oven, heated to 180 degrees. Cook for about 20-25 minutes. Thanks to the lemon-mustard marinade, beef fillets will bake faster than regular meat.
Step 4
While the meat is baking, you will have time to prepare the sauce. Peel the banana, rinse the bunch of cilantro, squeeze 2 tablespoons each of orange and lemon juice. Combine all sauce ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Step 5
Put the prepared beef on a plate, pour generously with aromatic banana sauce on top. The sauce is cold, but be sure to serve the meat hot.
