  • - 700 g boneless beef
  • - 1 glass of dry wine
  • - 2 carrots
  • - 1 onion
  • - 4 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
  • - 2 tbsp. l. balsamic sauce
  • - 1 tsp paprika
  • - 0.5 tsp nutmeg
  • - 0.5 tsp ground black pepper
  • - salt and herbs to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the beef in cool water, dry and place on a cutting board. Cut the meat into small, even pieces.

Step 2

Peel the onions and carrots, rinse, dry and cut into cubes. Sprinkle the meat onions.

Step 3

Pour warm dry wine into a bowl, add balsamic sauce, oil, spices, mix everything thoroughly, set aside for 5 minutes. Pour the prepared mixture over the meat and onions, salt and stir. Put the marinated beef in the refrigerator for 5 hours, marinate and soak.

Step 4

Put the marinated meat in a deep, thick-walled frying pan, pour the marinade over it. Put the pan on the stove, simmer the meat for 50 minutes over low heat. Chunks of beef should be constantly turned over.

Step 5

After braising for 50 minutes, add the carrots to the meat and continue braising for another 20 minutes. The dish is ready, now it remains to transfer it to plates and decorate with chopped herbs.
