It is necessary

  • For 18 pieces:
  • - 420 g flour;
  • - 1, 5 tsp baking powder;
  • - 0.5 tsp salt;
  • - 50 g of icing sugar;
  • - 300 g of natural yogurt;
  • - 85 g butter;
  • - 1 egg;
  • - 140 g of dried cranberries.
  • For glaze:
  • - 55 g of icing sugar;
  • - 1 tsp orange peel;
  • - 1 tbsp. orange juice.

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Line two baking sheets with baking paper.

Step 2

Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl. Add the icing sugar and mix thoroughly.

Step 3

Melt the butter in the microwave or water bath and cool slightly. Break the egg into a separate bowl and beat lightly with a fork or hand whisk. Add butter and yogurt, stir until smooth.

Step 4

Make a depression in the center of the dry dough mixture. Pour in the liquid ingredients. Stir until the dry mixture is moistened, then add the cranberries and stir again.

Step 5

Lightly dust the work surface with flour. Spread out the dough and use the patting movements of your palms to flatten it into a layer about 2.5 cm thick. Cut into 9 squares and each of them into 2 triangles.

Step 6

Spread the blanks on baking sheets at a distance of 2.5 cm from each other. Place in oven for 15 minutes.

Step 7

While the cookies are baking, prepare the icing by mixing the icing sugar, orange zest, and juice.

Step 8

Cool the finished cookies on a baking sheet, transfer to a wire rack and cover with glaze.
