Shortcrust pastry differs from others by its unique crumbly texture. That is why many people like it. I propose to make delicious biscuits with orange filling from it.
It is necessary
- For the test:
- - flour - 2 glasses;
- - egg - 1 piece;
- - butter - 50 g;
- - vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons;
- - sour cream - 100 g;
- - soda - 0.5 teaspoon.
- For filling:
- - orange - 1 pc;
- - sugar - 160 g;
- - starch - 1 tablespoon.
Instructions
Step 1
With the orange, do the following: wash thoroughly, cut into small pieces and remove every single bone. Then grind it with either a meat grinder or a blender. Add granulated sugar and starch to it. Mix the resulting mass thoroughly. The cookie filling is ready. Please note that you do not need to peel off the orange peel.
Step 2
Combine ingredients such as flour, soda, butter and vegetable oils, as well as sour cream and a chicken egg in one bowl. Mix everything well. Knead the dough from the resulting mass. Then wrap it with cling film and refrigerate for about half an hour.
Step 3
Divide the chilled dough into 2 equal-sized pieces, each of which should be rolled out thinly with a rolling pin. Put the orange filling on the resulting layers of dough and wrap them in such a way as to make a roll.
Step 4
Lay parchment on a baking sheet and place the rolls rolled from the dough on it. Cut them into small pieces and send them to an oven preheated to a temperature of 180 degrees. Bake until golden brown, about a quarter of an hour. Orange-filled shortbread cookies are ready!
