Orange biscuits cooked on almond flakes will delight you with a pleasant tart taste. All thanks to the combination of rum with candied orange fruits. Having tried this dish, you will not regret the time spent on its preparation.
It is necessary
- - almond flakes - 200 g;
- - sugar - 200 g;
- - flour - 100 g;
- - butter - 50 g;
- - candied orange fruits - 50 g;
- - vanilla sugar - 2 teaspoons;
- - milk - 50 ml;
- - rum - 50 ml.
- For glaze:
- - icing sugar - 250 g;
- - rum - a tablespoon;
- - milk - 1 tablespoon.
Instructions
Step 1
Use a knife to turn candied fruits into finely chopped pieces. Then transfer them to a saucepan. Add to them the following: almond flakes, granulated sugar, as well as vanilla sugar, butter, milk and rum thawed at room temperature. You can replace the latter with cognac. Mix all ingredients very thoroughly together.
Step 2
Place the resulting mixture on the stove. Let it boil. During this process, do not forget to constantly stir the mass. When it boils, remove it from the heat, then add wheat flour to it. Just before adding the last ingredient, sift it thoroughly through a sieve. Mix everything well until smooth.
Step 3
Put the resulting dough in the form of small cakes on a pre-greased baking sheet at some distance from each other. This procedure is best done using 2 tablespoons.
Step 4
Place the almond-flaked orange cookies in the oven. Bake it at 180 degrees for one quarter of an hour, that is, for 15 minutes.
Step 5
While the cookies are cooking, make the frosting. To do this, combine the powdered sugar sifted through a sieve with ingredients such as rum and milk. Mix everything properly.
Step 6
Remove the baked goods from the oven and pour over the prepared icing. Orange cookies on almond flakes are ready!
