Such a delicious delicacy as an orange muffin is sure to please both children and adults. For its preparation, boiled orange is used, which gives the dough an unusual taste.
Ingredients:
- Oranges - 2 pcs;
- Sugar - 5 tablespoons;
- Eggs - 3 pcs;
- Almonds (ground) - 60 g;
- Oil - 200 g;
- Bee honey - 70–80 g;
- Powdered sugar - 250 g;
- Peel from an orange.
Preparation:
- First you need to boil the orange. To do this, the washed citrus is placed in a saucepan of water and put on fire. It should cook long enough, usually at least 90 minutes. As a result, the orange should become very soft.
- Then the fruit is cut into pieces with a knife and all bones are removed from it. After that, you will need to prepare the orange puree using a blender. Simply put the pieces into the appliance and chop them until puree.
- Before starting to prepare the cream, all products should be taken out of the refrigerator so that they are at room temperature. Combine honey, butter and granulated sugar in a deep bowl, and then, using a mixer, beat the mixture until it becomes light. Then, one egg at a time, drive into the resulting mass with the same mixer.
- Then put in ground almonds and orange puree, and again everything is well mixed. After that, you need to fill in the flour and stir the mass with a mixer or a whisk until it completely interferes. However, you should not knead for too long.
- Prepare a baking dish. To do this, its surface must be thoroughly greased with oil and sprinkled with a thin layer of flour. Put the dough in the prepared form and send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees. The cake will take about 45-50 minutes to bake.
- Prepare the fondant while the dessert is baking. It must be warmed up by mixing with a large spoonful of boiled water. When the cake becomes warm, it will need to be coated with the resulting mass.
As a decoration, you can use the zest from an orange or a slice of this wonderful fruit.
