It is necessary

  • For the test:
  • - 1, 5 glasses of flour,
  • - 0.5 cups of sugar
  • - 150 g butter,
  • - 1 egg.
  • For the cream:
  • - 3 egg whites,
  • - 2 tbsp. l. jam,
  • - 3 tbsp. l. Sahara,
  • - 1 tsp. gelatin.

Instructions

Step 1

We mix butter, sugar, egg, add flour, knead the plastic dough. We roll it into thin layers - no more than 6 mm thick. We put in the oven and bake until golden brown at a temperature of 200 ° C. While the cake is hot, cut flowers out of it with a special mold.

Step 2

For the cream, heat the gelatin in 1/4 cup of water. Beat the whites with a mixer so that an air mass is obtained. We heat the jam, add sugar to the resulting homogeneous mass and cook for 7 minutes.

Step 3

Then remove from heat and mix with gelatin. The most crucial moment is to pour the fruit gelatin into the whipped whites, while continuing to work as a mixer. It is important to use the resulting mass warm so that it spreads well over the shortbread cakes, which should not be hot. You can decorate the cake in different ways, using chocolate, butter cream, etc. Sprinkle the sides of the "Seven-color flower" with crumbs of shortbread.
