Even the most ordinary bottle of champagne can turn into an original and unique gift if you show a little imagination and decorate it, for example, with a picture of Santa Claus.
It is necessary
- - A bottle of champagne;
- - artistic acrylic primer;
- - three-layer napkins for blending;
- - white acrylic paint;
- -green acrylic paint;
- - acrylic varnish;
- - PVA glue;
- - glass cleaner;
- - a clean cloth;
- - brush or foam rubber.
Instructions
Step 1
Remove all labels from the bottle. This is easy to do if you soak it in warm water for a while. Then use a sharp knife to scrape off the labels. Be sure to wash the bottle of glue residues. If it is difficult to rinse off, use a metal scouring pad.
Step 2
Degrease the surface of the bottle. To do this, treat its surface with glass cleaner and wipe with a clean cloth so that no streaks remain. If you leave streaks, then the paint on the bottle will not stick.
Step 3
After you have prepared the bottle for painting, apply acrylic primer to it. This can be done with a homemade brush. Take a clothespin and hold a small piece of foam rubber in it - this way you will get your hands less dirty. After applying the primer, leave the bottle to dry for an hour.
Step 4
Apply white acrylic paint to the dried primer using a brush or the same piece of foam rubber that you primed the surface of the bottle.
Step 5
Take a napkin prepared in advance for blending with New Year's motives, for example, with Santa Claus. Carefully cut out the figures with sharp scissors. You will need the layer on which the picture is printed. Glue it to the bottle with PVA glue. Do the same with the rest of the decorative elements, if they are on the napkin for blending.
Step 6
Next, you will need to complement the composition with Santa Claus with the image of a Christmas tree or fluffy spruce branches. You can draw it yourself. Draw the lines of the branches with a simple pencil. After that, use a very thin brush with green acrylic paint to paint the needles of the forest beauty.
Step 7
You can glue sequins or sequins to the free space with PVA glue.
Step 8
Cover the finished bottle with acrylic varnish and leave to dry for 24 hours. Tie a ribbon or tinsel around the neck of the bottle. Your gift is ready.
