Wash apples thoroughly, dry with a napkin, peel, remove cores and seeds. Grind the apple pulp, boil until soft in boiling water (10-15 minutes), then cool and rub through a sieve along with the water in which they were cooked.

Wash the lemon well and cut it finely together with the zest. Combine the applesauce with lemon, add half the sugar and boil over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring continuously so that the jam does not burn.

Then add the remaining sugar and spices (the cloves should be ground in a mortar with cinnamon until smooth). Mix the resulting mass and boil for another 15-20 minutes.

It is necessary to sterilize glass jars in advance. Apple jam, without cooling, put in jars and roll up tightly with lids. Put the jars on the floor with the lids down and wrap them with a blanket, leave until they cool completely.
