However, there are several ways that you can help you easily open this wonderful shellfish.

Step 1
Rinse the oysters well under cold water, wrap the sink with a clean towel and press down on the table so that the joint of the shutters is facing you.

Continue to hold the oyster with one hand, draw a knife along the upper flap, while the muscle will be cut, it is she who keeps the shell closed.
Step 4
Throw away the upper flap (flat), and carefully remove the lower (more round) from the towel so that juice does not spill. Use the tip of a knife to remove any debris from the sink.
