Before spawning, males develop a “hump” behind their heads, thanks to which the fish got its name.

In addition, pink salmon is very rich in unsaturated fatty acids such as Omega-3. These acids protect the body from the toxic effects of the external environment and promote cell renewal, and, consequently, rejuvenation of the body.

Minerals, and especially fluorine, help to restore the work of blood vessels and the heart. Sodium, zinc, potassium, and vitamin B6 normalize the functioning of the nervous system and endocrine glands. Like most marine life, pink salmon contains a significant amount of iodine, which must be consumed in case of insufficient thyroid production.

Pink salmon meat is digested very quickly due to the high content of amino acids, due to which protein enters the body without unnecessary energy consumption. This is very important for the elderly and young children.
