There is such a variety of herbs and berries in the endless Russian forests that one can inevitably get confused in them. A lot is known about some berries, while others are known to most only by hearsay, and only a few know about the differences between blueberries and blueberries.
Blueberry Stranger
As practice shows, the average consumer meets with blueberries much less often than with the more widespread and popular blueberries. This unpretentious plant is a shrub up to 80 cm in height, which can creep along the ground. Its branches are treelike, the leaves are elongated, up to 3 cm in size. They help restore vision.
Blueberry
Blueberry bushes grow up to 40 cm in height, and their rounded black and blue berries grow up to 8 mm in diameter. Blueberry bloom begins at the end of May, and the first harvest can be harvested in mid-July. Usually blueberries grow extensively in the Urals, in the forests of the Caucasus, in Siberia, giving preference to rich forest soils. Its berries contain a whole arsenal of nutrients and vitamins that have a beneficial effect on the human body, especially improve vision. In folk medicine, blueberry leaves are also widely used to treat diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, burns, diabetes mellitus and stomatitis.
Despite all their advantages, blueberries are not yet included in the list of cultivated plants and therefore are not used for growing in agricultural conditions. Berries are usually harvested in the wild.
The main differences between blueberries and blueberries
