The non-standard version of the Olivier salad has a very delicate gustatory sensation. This is achieved due to the technology of making jelly salad. And the shape of the salad in the form of a roll will undoubtedly amaze guests.
It is necessary
- - potatoes (3 pcs.);
- - carrots (2 pcs.);
- - ham (200 g);
- - apples (1 pc.);
- - canned peas (150 g);
- - chicken broth (150 ml.);
- - gelatin (25 g);
- - sour cream (70 ml.);
- - eggs (4 pcs.).
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the boiled potatoes and carrots, cut into cubes. We also chop the ham and apples (sprinkle the apples with lemon juice so as not to turn yellow).
Step 2
We combine the ingredients of the salad, adding the peas. We mix everything.
Step 3
Add a little pea juice and gelatin to the chicken broth. When the gelatin dissolves, add salt, black pepper and sour cream. Stir until smooth.
Step 4
After the cooked sauce has cooled down, pour the salad over it. Cook hard-boiled chicken eggs, cool them in cold water and peel them.
Step 5
We cover the container for the roll with cling film. The edges of the film should hang over the sides of the mold.
Step 6
We spread half of the salad on the bottom of the dish. Put the eggs on top, and pour the remaining half of the salad on top.
Step 7
We cover the dishes with plastic wrap and put the salad in the refrigerator for 12 hours. We release the finished dish from the film and decorate with herbs.
