Step 1
In order to make rainbow jelly in layers, you need to calculate the size of the dishes in which it will be served and measure the height of each layer. First, you need to measure the height of the vessel - for example, if its height is 15 cm, there should be 2 cm for each of the seven colors of the rainbow.
Step 2
Prepare red jelly (cherry, strawberry, pomegranate - your choice) according to the package directions. Let the jelly cool before using it. Carefully pour the slightly cooled liquid into a previously prepared dish, measuring the desired layer height with a ruler. Place a ruler vertically next to a glass and pour a layer 2 cm high, then refrigerate the glass for 20-30 minutes.
Step 3
Continuing to make the jelly in layers, repeat the previous 2 steps for the orange, yellow, green and blue jellies. As you fill in each new color, make sure the previous layer has solidified well enough. Otherwise, the colors will mix ugly with each other.
Step 4
Now you need to make an indigo layer between blue and purple so that the puff jelly resembles a rainbow as much as possible. This shade cannot be found among the ready-made jellies available on the market. Mix equal amounts of blue and purple jelly. Keep adding more color, blue or purple, until the shade is acceptable to you.
Step 5
Then repeat the first 2 steps and finish off with jelly layers of indigo and purple.
Step 6
Start applying the whipped cream around the edges of the glass, spiraling inward. Then finish off the center cocktail cherry decoration.
Step 7
Using a knife, cut the marmalade into small strips across to keep the rainbow in each cut. Sprinkle it on top of the whipped cream.
