Step 1

Use bran as a home beauty product. Bran masks, for example, are useful for all ages and all skin types.

For an anti-wrinkle mask, take some almond bran, mash with one chicken yolk and add a few grams of water. Apply the resulting mask on the face, avoiding the area of the eyes and lips, and leave for half an hour. Rinse off the mask with warm water.

Step 2

Indulge in a nourishing face mask. Mix wheat bran with honey heated in a water bath. Add lemon juice. Apply the mask to your face. Wait half an hour and wash off with warm water.

Step 3

Use the bran as a face and body scrub. For this, wheat or oat bran is suitable. Pour two or three tablespoons of bran with hot water, but not boiling water. After showering on damp skin, apply a warm bran mixture to your face and body. Massage your skin for 2-3 minutes and wash off the scrub with warm water. The skin will become soft and tender.

Step 4

Make a decoction of the bran to add strength and shine to your hair. Pour 250 g wheat or rye bran with two glasses of water. Bring the mixture to a boil, remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes. Then bring to a boil again and leave until the broth cools. Strain the broth through a fine sieve or cheesecloth. Apply the broth liberally to the hair, put on an insulating cap and wait 15-20 minutes. Rinse your hair with warm water. Use the procedure once a week for a month.

Use bran to cleanse your intestines. Fiber from the bran promotes the rapid and safe removal of waste from the body. You can cook bran porridge, add bran to salads, yoghurts, even soups and meat dishes. The main thing is to consume bran with food every day.

Step 6

Eat bran before meals if you want to lose weight. A couple of tablespoons of any bran soaked in water for 5-10 minutes before each meal will be enough. The bran quickly fills the stomach and makes you feel full. Your typical lunch or dinner portion will be much smaller after taking the bran.

Step 7

Use bran as a homemade baking ingredient. It's delicious, cheap, and very healthy! Whisk the egg white with vinegar-slaked soda, water and sunflower oil. Add bran and flour and knead the dough thoroughly. Roll out the dough into a 3-4 mm layer and cut into small squares. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil, put the cookies and place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 200 degrees C. After 20-25 minutes, the golden, aromatic, low-calorie cookies are ready!
