The long-awaited summer has finally arrived. Summer heat came with him. Turkish lemonade will help you cope with it. This soft drink is an excellent thirst quencher. In addition, it contains many vitamins. I propose to do it.
It is necessary
- - cold water - 5 l;
- - lemon - 7 pcs.;
- - sugar - 500-700 g;
- - mint - a few leaves.

Step 1
Rinse the lemons very thoroughly under running water. This should be done because the zest will also be involved in the preparation of Turkish lemonade. Chop the fruit into medium sized pieces.
Step 2
Place the sliced lemons in a blender. Add a small amount of granulated sugar and mint leaves to them. Grind the resulting mixture. If you do not have this device, you can grate the fruit using a medium or coarse grater, most importantly, with the zest. Thus, you get a mass that resembles a gruel in its consistency.
Step 3
Put the lemon gruel in a deep bowl and pour 5 liters of cold clean water. Hot or warm water should not be used in any case, as it will ruin the drink - it will taste bitter. Pour granulated sugar there. Place the resulting mass in the refrigerator overnight. If you leave the future lemonade at room temperature, then it will also turn out to be bitter.
Step 4
The next morning, take out the lemon liquid - the fruit should not float to the surface, it should settle to the bottom.
Step 5
Using a cheesecloth or sieve folded in several layers, strain the lemon liquid. Chill the drink, then serve. Turkish lemonade is ready!
