Bran contains up to 90% of useful biologically active components of grain. Their main value is in fiber, the lack of which can lead to a number of intestinal diseases and dysbiosis. Eating bran regulates microflora, improves bile secretion, and helps to reduce excess weight.

- For steaming the bran:
- - 400 g of bran;
- - liter of water.
- For the treatment of bronchitis:
- - 400 g of bran;
- - 1.5 liters of water.

- - 1 tablespoon with top bran;
- - 2 glasses of water;
- - a tablespoon of honey.

Instructions
Step 1
Steaming the bran Put 400 g of bran in a deep bowl and cover with a liter of boiling water. It should cover the bran well. Cover and leave to swell. Gently drain the water after twenty to thirty minutes. Add the resulting gruel to different dishes: salads, side dishes, soups. Or eat with water.
Step 2
For the treatment of bronchitis Pour 400 g of bran with 1.5 liters of boiling water and, covered with a lid, leave for thirty minutes. Then strain through a sieve or gauze filter. In case of bronchitis, use not only steamed bran, but also strained infusion. Drink it throughout the day instead of coffee and tea.
Step 3
To recuperate after illness Pour a tablespoon of bran topped with two glasses of water. Put on low heat and simmer for thirty to forty minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, refrigerate, add a spoonful of honey and stir well. Consume 50g warm and cold three to four times a day.
Step 4
Pre-steamed bran is recommended to be taken according to the scheme: one teaspoon for the first two weeks. Then increase the dose and take the bran three times a day for a tablespoon. After the normalization of the intestines, the course of treatment should be continued for some time, reducing the dose to two teaspoons per day. You can use bran for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes according to a different scheme: one teaspoon three times a day. After seven to ten days, increase the dose to two teaspoons. After another seven to ten days, bring the bran intake to two tablespoons. Take them until the bowels are fully restored, gradually adding one teaspoon per day. But remember - the amount of bran should not exceed seven to eight tablespoons per day.
Step 5
Bran cakes Pour the bran into a container and pour boiling water over them so that the water covers them well. Leave the bran to steam and soak until morning. Then very carefully drain off any excess water, if any, and add enough flour to the bran so that you can knead a tough dough. Shape the dough into small patties. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil, place bran cakes on it and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. After ten minutes, turn the tortillas over to the other side and continue baking until tender. Various herbs can be added to the tortillas when kneading the dough. It is recommended to eat them for people suffering from various intestinal disorders.
