Steamed dishes are very beneficial for those who are dieting for aesthetic or medicinal purposes. Even meat will fit well into such a diet, because it can also be easily steamed. For steamed patties, lean, tender meats like veal are best, but you can also make them like traditional patties from beef, pork, or a mixture of ground beef and pork.
It is necessary
-
- Meat (veal) - 400-500 g
- or 200-250 g of beef and 200-250 g of pork.
- Egg - 1 pc.
- A piece of bread is about 1/3 of a loaf.
- Milk - 1 glass
- Medium potato - 1 pc.
- Medium onion - 1 pc.
- Salt
- pepper to taste.
- Meat grinder.
- Large saucepan with a lid.
- A large strainer or colander.
Instructions
Step 1
The most convenient way to steam food is in a double boiler. But if you don't have a steamer, you can easily do without one. To do this, you will need a large saucepan with a lid and a metal colander or sieve, preferably a flat bottom. The diameter of the sieve should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the pan, so that it fits easily into it.
Step 2
Cut the meat into large pieces, scroll through a meat grinder. Also mince the potato and onion.
Step 3
Pass the resulting minced meat through a meat grinder again.
Step 4
Cut off the crusts from a piece of roll, soak the crumb in milk.
Step 5
Break the egg into a separate bowl and shake it with a fork.
Step 6
Place the minced meat in the bread soaking bowl, add the beaten egg, stir, salt and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly again. You can also add spices to taste.
Step 7
Scroll the resulting mass through a meat grinder for the third time.
Step 8
Make cutlets from the minced meat obtained. It is best to keep them small, a little larger than the walnut, so they cook faster and look better. Place the formed patties in a strainer or colander.
Step 9
Pour water into a saucepan and put it on fire. Place a colander or sieve with cutlets on top. Water must not touch the bottom of the sieve!
Step 10
When the water boils, reduce the heat. Cook the patties for about 30-40 minutes.
