This appetizing chocolate jelly turns out to be quite dense, very thick, and most importantly - delicious. It is prepared in milk with the addition of starch and vanillin, due to this, the jelly is aromatic and healthy.

It is necessary

  • For two servings:
  • - 600 ml of milk;
  • - 100 g of dark chocolate;
  • - 50 g of sugar;
  • - 20 g of corn starch;
  • - 3 vanilla pods;
  • - fresh mint.

Instructions

Step 1

Pour 2/3 of the milk into a saucepan, add the indicated amount of sugar. Stir, put on medium heat.

Step 2

Cut the vanilla pods in half lengthwise, scrape the seeds out of one pod and add them to the saucepan along with the pods.

Step 3

Bring milk to a boil, reduce heat, add chocolate pieces. Leave one slice of chocolate to decorate the jelly.

Step 4

Mix 1/3 of milk with starch, add to boiling milk, stir vigorously until all components are dissolved. Take out the vanilla pods, they are no longer required. Cool the jelly slightly.

Step 5

Pour the finished chocolate jelly into glasses. Rub a slice of chocolate or break it into coarse crumbs, decorate it with jelly, put fresh mint leaves on top. Serve immediately. You can also try to cook jelly with white chocolate according to this recipe.
