It is necessary

  • For the test:
  • 1 cup (200 ml) milk
  • 1 glass (200 ml) kefir,
  • 3 eggs,
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoons of salt,
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 6 glasses of flour (look at the dough, you may need a little more or less),
  • 3 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  • For filling:
  • 500 grams of minced meat (mixed or one type),
  • 300 grams of onions,
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • red sweet pepper optional.

Instructions

Step 1

Pour a glass of milk and kefir into a large bowl, stir a little, break three eggs, beat with a fork or whisk. Add half a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of sugar and a teaspoon of baking soda, mix thoroughly.

Step 2

Stir in flour in small portions. Knead a soft dough (should not stick to your hands). Pour three tablespoons of vegetable oil into the dough and continue kneading until smooth. Cover the bowl of dough with a bag or tea towel and set aside while the filling is cooking.

Step 3

For the filling, peel the onion (two and a half medium onions) and chop in a blender or grate, leave a small part of the onion finely chopped. Mix onion with minced meat, salt and pepper.

Step 4

Divide the dough into several pieces. Divide each part into pieces. Roll the dough into a flat cake. Place a serving of minced meat in the middle of the tortilla and form the whites. Fold the edges of the dough towards the center. Sculpt the ends of the dough to the folded edges, leave the middle open. Form all the whites.

Step 5

Pour oil into a saucepan so that the whites are half immersed in it. Heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Place the whites face down in the butter. Fry until golden brown, then turn over. For more juiciness, pour hot vegetable oil or broth into the middle of the beef (in the minced meat). Fry under the lid.

Step 6

Place the finished whites on paper towels to remove excess fat.
