  • - 1 cucumber;
  • - 1 carrot;
  • - 2 sheets of nori;
  • - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of lemon juice;
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of soy sauce;
  • - 1 teaspoon brown sugar;
  • - rice for sushi;
  • - rice vinegar;
  • - wasabi.

Instructions

Step 1

Peel the carrots, cut them into thin strips with a vegetable peeler. Place in a container and cover with marinade. Close the lid, leave to marinate for 1 hour.

Step 2

Carrot marinade recipe: Combine soy sauce with sugar and lemon juice.

Step 3

Boil rice for sushi until cooked (it should resemble porridge), add 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, mix thoroughly and set aside for 20 minutes - let the rice infuse and cool slightly.

Step 4

Rinse fresh cucumber, cut into thin strips to the full length.

Step 5

Place a nori sheet on a bamboo rug; do not spread the cooked rice on top of it. Place the carrot and cucumber along one edge. And coat the opposite edge with a little wasabi. Next, roll the nori sheet into a roll using a rug.

Step 6

The rolls with pickled carrots and cucumbers are almost ready - it remains to cut them into pieces about 3-4 cm thick. Serve pickled ginger and wasabi separately with these rolls.
