Before proceeding with the process of soaking salted fish, carefully clean it of scales, cut off the head, tail, all fins and cut into pieces. To remove scales from salted fish, first put it in cold water for an hour. There are two ways to soak salted fish: in running water and in exchangeable water.
Instructions
Step 1
In running water. Place the salted fish in a saucepan.
Step 2
Place the pot in the sink.
Step 3
Turn on the cold water tap and direct the flow of water to the fish pan. Cold water will constantly wash over the fish and drain into the drainpipe. After thirty minutes, you need to move the fish. With this method, salted fish will soak in a few hours.
Step 4
In replaceable water. Take one kilogram of cut salted fish and fill it with two liters of cold water, which should be no higher than 12 degrees. You can use ice to cool the water.
Step 5
Change the water for the first time one hour after starting the soak. Then two hours later, three hours later, six hours later. At the same time, add the same amount of water each time as at the very beginning. Water should not be changed often.
