Yogurt is a very healthy food indeed. There is a huge selection in stores, but really healthy yogurt is not the cheapest. Many people set themselves the goal of making yoghurt at home, but they are stopped by the need to buy yoghurt makers, starter cultures, etc. But there is a really simple way to provide yourself with a tasty and healthy fermented milk product.
It is necessary
- - live yogurt;
- - milk;
- - pan;
- - glass jars.
Instructions
Step 1
Buy one container (jar) of live yogurt from the store. Even a small package is enough, most importantly - without any fillers. Also, take 1 or 2 liters of milk.
Step 2
Pour the milk into a saucepan. Bring the milk to a boil, stirring occasionally. As soon as it boils, turn off the stove and leave the milk to cool to room temperature.
Step 3
Wash glass jars and steam sterilize. After the milk has cooled to room temperature, add the purchased yogurt to it and stir. As soon as the yogurt has dissolved in milk, pour everything into jars, close the lids and leave overnight at room temperature.
Step 4
In the morning, the yogurt is ready. This can be seen in the consistency. Add jam, jam or just berries and enjoy the taste. We put the rest in the refrigerator, since we have live yogurt.
