One of the famous drinks is kvass. When you use it, your thirst will immediately disappear and your appetite will increase. Kvass is sure to please all family members in hot weather. In hot, sunny weather, the best way to quench your thirst is a cool glass of kvass. The recipe for beet kvass was passed from mother to daughter and thus it has survived to this day.
It is necessary
- - 1 beet;
- - a crust of bread;
- - 4 tablespoons of sugar;
- - 2 liters of water.

The beets should be washed well, peeled from the raw form, cut into cubes and put in a three-liter jar, flooded with boiled water.

Then bread and sugar should be added to the semi-prepared mass, the contents of the jar should be mixed for a long time and thoroughly.

Cover the jar with a saucer and leave it in the room for several days to allow the future drink to ferment.

After the required period has passed, filter and pour the kvass into bottles, close the lid and place it in the refrigerator, it is better to drink kvass in a couple of days, not right away.

It acquires beneficial qualities directly during the fermentation process. Beet kvass, like other types of this drink, can cure hypertension, dysbiosis, gastritis, heart disease and put people with weak immunity on their feet. It is difficult to list all the advantages, since this kvass is used in different spheres of human life, it can be used not just as a drink, but also as a cold vegetable soup or instead of dressing for okroshka, these dishes are usually eaten on hot summer days.
But beet kvass also has disadvantages: it cannot be used by people with stomach diseases, kidney problems and urolithiasis, an exacerbation of any type of disease may appear, which can adversely affect health. Due to the presence of alcohol in kvass, it is forbidden to drink to car drivers.
