For them, the meaning of the expression "bird's milk" was something unseen, non-existent and inaccessible to ordinary people. In addition, the ancient people believed that the birds of paradise fed their chicks with such an unusual product.

Most of them died of hunger and thirst, some were eaten by wild animals, but some simply refused their love, not wanting to return to the chosen one empty-handed.

As for the sweets with the unusual name "Bird's Milk", Polish confectioners are considered to be their inventors, who first released a batch of this unusually tasty and sweet delicacy in 1936. In our country, Bird's Milk sweets appeared in the 60s of the last century. Residents of the USSR quickly appreciated the fabulous taste of this product, and a decade later, a cake with the same unusual and incredibly interesting name appeared on the shelves of confectionery stores.
