In appearance, lard cooked in onion skins looks like smoked lard. But the taste has absolutely its own. There is, however, a drawback to the recipe: it takes several days to cook. But it is easy, tasty and a minimum of fuss. Write down this recipe and try it, you won't regret it.
It is necessary
- - a piece of bacon,
- - husks from several bulbs,
- - a handful of bay leaves,
- - with a dozen peas of black pepper,
- - a few peas of allspice.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour everything except bacon with a liter of water, add a quarter of a glass of salt and put on fire. As it boils - put the bacon. The pieces should be large - as large as possible and completely covered with liquid.
Step 2
In 10 minutes. turn off the fire. Let the pan cool and refrigerate for a day.
Step 3
After a day, take out the bacon and let the brine drain completely. While it flows down, crush a few large cloves of garlic very finely. From the bottom of our hearts we coat it with bacon from all sides. And again - in the refrigerator for a day. And ready-made bacon must be stored in the freezer. It turns out to be a wonderful snack. And just with potatoes - delicious!
