Tomato smoothie with basil is an unusually fragrant and mouth-watering drink that should definitely be prepared not only in summer, but also in winter. For a brighter and richer flavor, you can replace the basil with a few leaves or add a whole stalk of celery. In winter, when there is no fresh basil, you can use its dried leaves. In summer, toss in a few ice cubes in a basil smoothie for a refreshing coolness.

- - two large tomatoes;
- - two sprigs of basil;
- - one pinch of sugar and salt;
- - one hundred milliliters of mineral water.

Step 1
Wash the tomatoes thoroughly, remove the green tails. If you do not like the rind in the drink, then you can remove it. Chop the peeled tomatoes and place in a blender bowl.

Rinse the basil thoroughly, remove the sprigs. Use only leaves for a drink. At this point, you can add celery. If you are using green basil, you need less than purple. After all, green has a richer taste and aroma.

Season the food with salt and sugar at this stage. If desired, you can add other seasonings: rosemary, oregano, etc.

Pour mineral water into a blender bowl and beat with a blender for four to five minutes. The tomato pieces must be completely chopped up. If the tomatoes were fleshy, then more mineral water can be added to the drink.
