This is a simple snack with a real homemade flavor, traditional for German cuisine. In Germany, it is customary to eat scrambled eggs with bacon and potatoes, cooked in a pan. This dish is usually served with cream as an appetizer or as a side dish for fish.
It is necessary
- potatoes - 600 grams,
- pork fat - 4 pieces,
- onion - 1 pc,
- vegetable oil - 5 tbsp. spoons,
- cream - 100 ml,
- a sprig of parsley to decorate the dish,
- fine salt and ground pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
We peel 600 grams of potatoes and cut into slices one centimeter thick. If the circles are too large, cut them in half or into quarters.
We peel one onion and cut it in half, and then into thin half rings.
Step 2
Heat five tablespoons of vegetable oil in a frying pan and add the onion. Simmer over medium heat until soft, stir frequently.
Add the potatoes to the onions in the pan and simmer, turning them over so that the pieces do not stick together. Cover the pan with a lid and cook over medium heat until soft. The potatoes should be lightly browned.
Step 3
Cut the pork fat into one centimeter thick slices. Add the bacon to the potatoes in the pan and mix. Cook for five minutes over medium heat.
Beat two eggs in a separate cup and season with salt and pepper. Add the egg mass to the potatoes. Stir constantly so that the eggs spread and do not turn into an omelet. After the eggs are curdled, add the cream. Turn the mass over two or three times, when everything is slightly mixed, remove it from the heat. Taste the cooked dish and add a little salt if necessary. Decorate with fresh herbs and serve.
